Hey guys, sorry for the long absense.  My muse and will to create left me for several months.  She’s coming back though.  :)  I’ve been creating lots of expanding and scrolling stats.  :)  I’m taking a free class that is teaching me how to do this.  :)  If you’ve always wanted to know how to do this click HERE.  I’ve got several more new ones to share as well.

Several members to pixel sites have expired so I’m sad about that.  I can’t afford to purchase them either.  I think I need to update my wish list.  There are a couple sites I have a lifetime membership to and I don’t care for the sites anymore.  I should find out if I could gift my membership to someone else.

A few months ago I started playing World of Warcraft.  I’m sooooo addicted to that game.  I play it every chance I get.  Mostly I play with my husband, right now he’s not feeling well so he’s not playing so much.  I hope he gets better real soon so that we can play together again.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know what is going on with me.

I’m heading out for the weekend.  I won’t be home until Sunday late afternoon early evening sometime.  I’m spending the weekend at my mother’s.  She needs some help around the house and wants to purchase a new computer and I told her not to do a thing without me.  lol  She’s completely computer illiterate and I want to help her get something that is ideal for her and not something big and over the top.  I don’t want her to be taken advantage of because she doesn’t know what is what.

I’ve been out of my sleeping pills for almost a week now and I’ve barely been sleeping.  I feel awful, I won’t be able to drive so I’m letting Dale sleep as long as possible so he can drive down to my mother’s.  She lives about 2 hours away.  Before we can go down though we have to meet his mother at her lawyer’s office so she can get information on going bankrupt.  :(  Talk about a full day.  I feel so nauseous from the lack of sleep.  I think I’ve barely slept 8 hours in 2 days.  Sometimes this is fine but I was actually trying to sleep so I’m miserable.  I’m actually snacking on saltines right now because my stomach is so upset.  I’m going to get some tea in a moment hoping that will help too.

And the purpose of this blog is…

… to give you updates of all my creative endeavors.  Well here’s one.  I did a major update on my MBL website.  I have a new web set and layout.  For those of you that have been with me  awhile, you might recognize the current drop down menu.  :)  I am now using the drop down menu I had used prior to my previous layout.  The only difference between last time and this time is that I’m using tables again but I’m also using iframes so that I’m not having to use php.  I still only have to edit the menu on one page and not cloes to 200 pages.  Yes that’s right my website has close to 200 pages.  So editing the colors and whatnot is a large chore as I have to go into each page and make all the changes.  See, if I knew CSS I could create a css file and have it be automatic but I’m not THAT smart.  lol  I really should look into it as it would save me A LOT of time when I change the webset and I might be more inclined to change it more often.  I wonder how you people like change or if it would annoy people to see my web set change often.  I supposed I’ll never know.  I also removed several pages from my site that I thought people wouldn’t be interested in.  I removed my diploma page, my Juelle Web Design portfolio, my blinkies and a few other things I don’t remember.  I no longer have a link to my glitter sparkles on my main page but it is still linked on my Glitter Text Tutorial page.

Another update I did shortly before this new layout is that I reorganized my wallpaper pages which I had wanted to do for some time.  I also uploaded several wallpapers that I had made for just me.  Sometimes I would get bored and wanted to make a wallpaper but didn’t want to make it in each sizes so I only made it in my size.  So the 1280 x 800 and the 1680 x 1050 have several my wallpapers than other sizes.   To make it easier for everyone I gave each size it’s own page so that you can find your wallpapers easier.  I still have some wallpapers that I have not uploaded but I’m not going to either.  The big reason is that they are personal, I have some of my pets with Dale and I and the I don’t want everyone to have those.  I have one that is rated AC that has Dale’s name on it.  Yes, I made him a personal adult wallpaper.  LOL  It cheered him up one day too.  lol  Thank you Anthony Guerra!  hehe  2 new wallpapers that I have use Suzanne Woolcott’s work.  One of them I goofed and her website is wrong, I put http://gorjuss.co.us instead of http://gorjuss.co.uk.  So I have to fix that.  I really need someone to help me proof them before I release them to the public.  lol  I think I need a creative team to help me sometimes.  I have one lovely member and I really should have a few more.  lol  Anyone want to volunteer?  lol  Comment on this blog entry and let me know if you want to join.  I’ll give you pixel tags from my shop every once and a while.  I purchased Quick Tag so I’ll make a hidden page for only my creative team members with a few tags on it and rotate it every once and awhile.  If you don’t like pixel tags, give me an idea of what you think I could offer as a reward.  Maybe a personalized stat or wallpaper or something.

Another update that I did was put my guestbook on my site instead of having you go to bravenet’s site to sign it.  It’s still the same blog, it’s just not embedded into my site and I redid the colors to match my site.  :)  For some reason it wouldn’t center on my site so I fixed their wagon, I put it in a table to center it.  LOL  Man I just love tables sometimes. 

Well, I suppose I should go now and attempt to do something slightly productive.  I do have to fix that one new wallpaper.  Darn typos…

Someone reported my newest scrap kit Mysticism.  The link I provided before is no longer valid.  It just comes up with a link saying that it’s suspected of illegal or copyrighted content.  I want you all to know that I pride myself in creating and only using items that I have purchased, have permission to use, or have created myself.  In each zip file I provide a Credits.txt file.  In this file I list every person’s work that I have used.  They are all commercial use freebies or items I’ve purchased.  Some things I’ve created myself.  I am shocked, and deeply upset that someone has accused me of putting out something illegal.  I have not done that since I became a legal creator in the beginning of 2005.  I’m not asking whoever has reported me to come forward, but I would appreciate it if you think I’m doing something wrong if you let me know.  I am perfectly willing to fix anything I’ve done wrong and I want you all to know that if I do something wrong it’s not something I’ve done on purpose.

I’m leaving for Massachusetts for the weekend on Thursday.  I’ll be back on Saturday I hope.  Since the theme week is supposed to be over on Saturday I wanted to make sure my members had all of their goodies before I left.  So yesterday I sent them their goodies for a total of 21 tags and 2 stats (1 was a scrolling stat).

Today I have to go to court for a friend.  I have to be there no later than 8am which means I have to leave here no later than 5am.  Luckily I didn’t go to bed yesterday until around 2pm so I got a nice long sleep.  She was wrongfully accused of stealing from the animal shelter that she worked at.  I also worked at that animal shelter where I was wrongfully fired from.  So I’m going to testify on her side.  She says she’s being taken to trial, today was supposed to just be a hearing to decide if it was going to trial.  The owner/manager of the animal shelter said she wasn’t going to press charges but the stat pressed charges for her.  We shall see how things go, I hope it goes well for my friend.

Thursday morning I’m going to be leaving to go to Massachusetts to my BIL’s house.  While we are there he’s going to take my husband skiing.  I don’t ski so I’m going to stay at his house with a good book.  Then on Friday I’m hoping Dale and I can go look at some apartment complexes.  We are planning on moving down there so we want to see what the places look like that we are going to apply for.  I hope they are nice.  I’m pretty sure we’re not going to be able to actually see inside the apartment but we shall see how things go.  Wish us luck

Theme week #6 is over.  It actually finished on Saturday but lazy me didn’t get the last of the tags done until today.  After I finish this post I’m going to make previews from my previous theme weeks so people can see what I’ve done in the past.  I think it might help people decide if they want to join my theme weeks.  I also need to put my pixel stats up on my pixel site.  Lots to do, lots to do.  I have to start tags for the next theme week, make more tags for the shop and there are several tuts I want to try.  I have therapy this afternoon so we shall see what gets done.

To keep my head occupied while I’m creating I’m also watching Babylon 5.  It was a great sci-fi show that ran for 5 years.  It’s no star trek but it’s pretty good just the same.  It hasn’t been on tv for awhile as far as I know but you could always rent it.  :)  I think it’s on Netflix.

Tonight I upgraded to version 2.7 from 2.65.  The admin side of things looks VERY different.  It’ll take some getting used to.  So far there are things that I like a lot better.  We’ll see how the rest goes.  :)  I also have to work on tags for my current theme week and add some new tags for my shop.  I’ve also got a new scrap kit in the works that will be a freebie kit.  I have lots of stuff in the works.  You’ll find out all about it here. 

I’ve lowered the prices on all tags in my shop.  Starting in March they will be $.50 each or 6 for $2.50.  I’m also lowering the price of theme weeks from $10 for 1 week or $18 for 2 weeks to $7 for 1 week or $11 for 2 weeks.  Prices for 2 weeks for you and a friend will go from $36 to $22.  I have also updated the upcoming theme weeks page with the dates and the themes.
