It seems that life has taken me for a bit of a ride.  I’m addicted to World of Warcraft but now I’m started to venture out of the game a bit.  I have even made a couple desktop wallpapers.  They are only 1680×1050, but it’s a start I suppose.  I entered a contest on Suzanne Woolcott’s blog and won a $21 gift certificate to spend in her store.  I got several new tubes and an element pack.  I used one of the new tubes and something from the element pack to make my newest wallpaper.  I’ll upload them to my website when I get a chance.

In other news, I no longer have a car.  It was up for inspection by the end of May and we couldn’t afford to do the repairs necessary for it to pass.  So we sold the  car.  We got just enough money to pay for my speeding ticket.  **sigh**  Pathetic I know.  However, we’ll be saving money as we don’t have to pay for car insurance for gas.  We have a friend close by that can take us places in emergency, and we’ll give her gas money or feed her as payment.  Mostly we are going to rely on the public transportation system.  We got a free month bus pass because we have Maine Care approved doctor appointments.  We can use the bus for anything though.  We just have to get the paper signed by someone when we go, which I seem to forget.  I’ve already had 2 out of the 3 appointments this month and keep forgetting to get it signed.  Which means I’ll have to go back to get them signed.  I’m such a scatter brain sometimes.

I keep wanted to create but when I open PSP and look through my artists’ folders nothing inspires me.  I can picture things in my head that I want to do but it just doesn’t seem to come out.  So I just close PSP up again and I go hide in World of Warcraft or read a book.  At the moment I’m reading Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton.  It’s the first book in her Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series.  I’ve already read all the books that I have, but there are 3 new books which I haven’t read and don’t even own yet.  I must remedy that asap.  lol

Not too long ago I left the graphics world.  I’m no longer creating and at the moment I have no future plans to.  I’m sorry to say this.  I had a wonderful 6 years but the time has come for me to stop.  Hopefully I will come back but at the moment with no muse it’s quite difficult to imagine.  Who knows though what the future holds for me.

Hey guys, sorry for the long absense.  My muse and will to create left me for several months.  She’s coming back though.  :)  I’ve been creating lots of expanding and scrolling stats.  :)  I’m taking a free class that is teaching me how to do this.  :)  If you’ve always wanted to know how to do this click HERE.  I’ve got several more new ones to share as well.

Several members to pixel sites have expired so I’m sad about that.  I can’t afford to purchase them either.  I think I need to update my wish list.  There are a couple sites I have a lifetime membership to and I don’t care for the sites anymore.  I should find out if I could gift my membership to someone else.

A few months ago I started playing World of Warcraft.  I’m sooooo addicted to that game.  I play it every chance I get.  Mostly I play with my husband, right now he’s not feeling well so he’s not playing so much.  I hope he gets better real soon so that we can play together again.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know what is going on with me.

I’m heading out for the weekend.  I won’t be home until Sunday late afternoon early evening sometime.  I’m spending the weekend at my mother’s.  She needs some help around the house and wants to purchase a new computer and I told her not to do a thing without me.  lol  She’s completely computer illiterate and I want to help her get something that is ideal for her and not something big and over the top.  I don’t want her to be taken advantage of because she doesn’t know what is what.

I’ve been out of my sleeping pills for almost a week now and I’ve barely been sleeping.  I feel awful, I won’t be able to drive so I’m letting Dale sleep as long as possible so he can drive down to my mother’s.  She lives about 2 hours away.  Before we can go down though we have to meet his mother at her lawyer’s office so she can get information on going bankrupt.  :(  Talk about a full day.  I feel so nauseous from the lack of sleep.  I think I’ve barely slept 8 hours in 2 days.  Sometimes this is fine but I was actually trying to sleep so I’m miserable.  I’m actually snacking on saltines right now because my stomach is so upset.  I’m going to get some tea in a moment hoping that will help too.

Someone reported my newest scrap kit Mysticism.  The link I provided before is no longer valid.  It just comes up with a link saying that it’s suspected of illegal or copyrighted content.  I want you all to know that I pride myself in creating and only using items that I have purchased, have permission to use, or have created myself.  In each zip file I provide a Credits.txt file.  In this file I list every person’s work that I have used.  They are all commercial use freebies or items I’ve purchased.  Some things I’ve created myself.  I am shocked, and deeply upset that someone has accused me of putting out something illegal.  I have not done that since I became a legal creator in the beginning of 2005.  I’m not asking whoever has reported me to come forward, but I would appreciate it if you think I’m doing something wrong if you let me know.  I am perfectly willing to fix anything I’ve done wrong and I want you all to know that if I do something wrong it’s not something I’ve done on purpose.

I’m leaving for Massachusetts for the weekend on Thursday.  I’ll be back on Saturday I hope.  Since the theme week is supposed to be over on Saturday I wanted to make sure my members had all of their goodies before I left.  So yesterday I sent them their goodies for a total of 21 tags and 2 stats (1 was a scrolling stat).

Today I have to go to court for a friend.  I have to be there no later than 8am which means I have to leave here no later than 5am.  Luckily I didn’t go to bed yesterday until around 2pm so I got a nice long sleep.  She was wrongfully accused of stealing from the animal shelter that she worked at.  I also worked at that animal shelter where I was wrongfully fired from.  So I’m going to testify on her side.  She says she’s being taken to trial, today was supposed to just be a hearing to decide if it was going to trial.  The owner/manager of the animal shelter said she wasn’t going to press charges but the stat pressed charges for her.  We shall see how things go, I hope it goes well for my friend.

Thursday morning I’m going to be leaving to go to Massachusetts to my BIL’s house.  While we are there he’s going to take my husband skiing.  I don’t ski so I’m going to stay at his house with a good book.  Then on Friday I’m hoping Dale and I can go look at some apartment complexes.  We are planning on moving down there so we want to see what the places look like that we are going to apply for.  I hope they are nice.  I’m pretty sure we’re not going to be able to actually see inside the apartment but we shall see how things go.  Wish us luck

Tonight I upgraded to version 2.7 from 2.65.  The admin side of things looks VERY different.  It’ll take some getting used to.  So far there are things that I like a lot better.  We’ll see how the rest goes.  :)  I also have to work on tags for my current theme week and add some new tags for my shop.  I’ve also got a new scrap kit in the works that will be a freebie kit.  I have lots of stuff in the works.  You’ll find out all about it here. 

Ok, so my plans for today was to get up, get ready and travel 2 hours to see my family for Christmas.  Spend the night down there and spend Christmas Day with my Mom.  I check the weather report and it prevents me from going.  Ok, so I’m upset about that.  I get woken up several times by my landlord and she’s threatening to have my cars towed.  I’m borrowing my MIL’s car right now because mine doesn’t run.  I have an appointment for Monday morning to have it worked on but that isn’t good enough for them.  I’ve been working for 3 days trying to get my car towed.  This morning I get a visit from my landlord saying 2 tow trucks are coming to take both vehicles away.  So I call and cancel them and I tell the landlord that I’m going to have the car towed myself.  I call AAA and they say they only tow 5 miles for free ($3 per mile after that).  The car needs to go about 12 or so, I think it’s more than that but we shall see.  The car can’t get into the bay until Monday morning so I have to call another tow company to get it towed from the lot into the bay (less than 100 ft) and it’s going to cost me another $43.  Have I mentioned I’m nearly broke yet?

My car is now towed, it’s at the garage I need it to be at.  Monday morning I’ll have to call AAA back to get it put into the bay. 

So I sit here now on Christmas Eve and I have no family to spend it with watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.  I’m alone as my husband is sleeping, he’s not feeling well.  I hope you all have a much better Christmas than I am.  Now I shall go play in PSP and create some new goodies.

My current theme week is moving along very nicely.  I have all my tags done and personalized except for the last 2 days.  I’m taking a break from making tags for the theme week and instead I’m making tags for my shop.  So far I have 2 new limited edition dolls.  They haven’t been uploaded yet but I’m having fun making them.  :) 

Today I have a busy day ahead of me with lots of errands and what not.  I’m also having company tonight.  Since my car is broken (grrr) our friend is going to cart our butts around town today.  She told us to call her Jeeves today.  lol  To pay her back, I’m cooking supper for us tonight.  Then we’ll play some video games.  She hasn’t played Guitar Hero with us yet.  We’ve also got Little Big Planet and a few other games we can play (on the PS3).

Recently I’ve found Amanda Fontaine’s little girls quite cute.  She’s got some angels, devils and just little girls.  They are adorable.  I’ve already made a couple stats with them and will make more I’m sure.  They’ve already been sent to my always group.  They’ll be uploaded to my site when I get a chance.

I’m almost caught up in my email.  Still got several things to finish up.  I’m also testing a couple tutorials which I’m excited about.  Seems like forever since I’ve worked with something other than pixels.  I think later tonight or maybe tomorrow I’ll work on getting my scrap kits up here.
