I hope you all have a very happy, safe, and blessed 2009 and are spending it with those that you love.

Ok, so my plans for today was to get up, get ready and travel 2 hours to see my family for Christmas.  Spend the night down there and spend Christmas Day with my Mom.  I check the weather report and it prevents me from going.  Ok, so I’m upset about that.  I get woken up several times by my landlord and she’s threatening to have my cars towed.  I’m borrowing my MIL’s car right now because mine doesn’t run.  I have an appointment for Monday morning to have it worked on but that isn’t good enough for them.  I’ve been working for 3 days trying to get my car towed.  This morning I get a visit from my landlord saying 2 tow trucks are coming to take both vehicles away.  So I call and cancel them and I tell the landlord that I’m going to have the car towed myself.  I call AAA and they say they only tow 5 miles for free ($3 per mile after that).  The car needs to go about 12 or so, I think it’s more than that but we shall see.  The car can’t get into the bay until Monday morning so I have to call another tow company to get it towed from the lot into the bay (less than 100 ft) and it’s going to cost me another $43.  Have I mentioned I’m nearly broke yet?

My car is now towed, it’s at the garage I need it to be at.  Monday morning I’ll have to call AAA back to get it put into the bay. 

So I sit here now on Christmas Eve and I have no family to spend it with watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.  I’m alone as my husband is sleeping, he’s not feeling well.  I hope you all have a much better Christmas than I am.  Now I shall go play in PSP and create some new goodies.

My current theme week is moving along very nicely.  I have all my tags done and personalized except for the last 2 days.  I’m taking a break from making tags for the theme week and instead I’m making tags for my shop.  So far I have 2 new limited edition dolls.  They haven’t been uploaded yet but I’m having fun making them.  :) 

Today I have a busy day ahead of me with lots of errands and what not.  I’m also having company tonight.  Since my car is broken (grrr) our friend is going to cart our butts around town today.  She told us to call her Jeeves today.  lol  To pay her back, I’m cooking supper for us tonight.  Then we’ll play some video games.  She hasn’t played Guitar Hero with us yet.  We’ve also got Little Big Planet and a few other games we can play (on the PS3).

Recently I’ve found Amanda Fontaine’s little girls quite cute.  She’s got some angels, devils and just little girls.  They are adorable.  I’ve already made a couple stats with them and will make more I’m sure.  They’ve already been sent to my always group.  They’ll be uploaded to my site when I get a chance.

I’m almost caught up in my email.  Still got several things to finish up.  I’m also testing a couple tutorials which I’m excited about.  Seems like forever since I’ve worked with something other than pixels.  I think later tonight or maybe tomorrow I’ll work on getting my scrap kits up here.

I downloaded a theme from my membership over at Chatterbugs and everything is in the right order.  Yay!  I’ll now start adding things here now.

Ok, so I’m almost there with setting up this thing.  I still can’t figure out how to change the background, or create a custom footer.  I thought I had figured out how to change the link colors but that didn’t work.

Now for some odd reason my column 1 is sitting between columns 2 and 3.  I have NO idea how that happened and I’m quite frustrated.

Why am I writing here when I know nobody is reading it yet?  Because I’m trying to get into the habit of writing more often than I do on my other blog.

Ok, so I’m setting everything up getting all my widgets organized.  I’m adding links (long ways to go there) and pages and what not.  The only thing I can’t find how to add is a link to the home page.  I think it’s hiding somewhere and doesn’t want to come out.  I mean I know I can click on the header image and it’ll take me to the homepage but what if others don’t know that?  I want to make it easy for them.

Also, I’m trying to find some good wordpress themes at least until I can figure out how to make my own.  I’ve seen some online but I want something with art that I use and not some generic stock art (unless it’s art I like and can credit lol).

Anyway, that’s where I’m at so far.  I think once I get all my links set up I will put a link on my MBL and LPP sites to lead her.  I’ll also make a post on my Scrap blog to send people here.  Lots to do, lots to do, but I’ll get there eventually. 

Hi there and welcome to my new blog.  Things aren’t quite set up yet, but I’m working on it.  :)  Once I get the layout set up and everything organized then I will start adding some content.
