Hi, my name is Lysa and this is my blog.  I have a couple other blogs including a regular every day type of blog and a blog about my scraps.  I thought I would sort of combine the 2.  I’ll close down my scraps blog and put that information here including everything art related that I do.  I’ll have general life type stuff as well but I’ll leave my other blog for the more soul searching type of stuff.

You should probably learn a little more about me.  I’m 28 years old and am married to a wonderful man named Dale.  We have our ups and downs but all in all, I’d say we have a pretty darn good marriage.  We don’t have any human children but we do have 2 wonderful children of the feline variety.  Their names are George and Gracie, yup you guessed it, they are sorta named after George Burns and Gracie Allen.  Though technically we got Gracie first and I named her after my deceased paternal grandmother Grace.  When we got George (who also goes by Georgie and sometimes Georgie Porgie) I wanted to name him Neelix (we were watching Star Trek: Voyager at the time) but I got outvoted big time.  My mother-in-law (who we were living with at the time) said it was too “weird”.  Dale didn’t care for it either, either that or he just sided with his mother.  In the end my mother-in-law decided on George.  The name stuck, he knows his name and answers to it almost every time I call.  I swear that cat is more doglike than anything else.  lol  I guess it’s only fair that she named George, she then later let me name her newest cat, his name is Alex, short for Alexander Petrovsky (I was watching Sex in the City at the time lol).  I think I’m the only one who remembers his last name though.  That’s ok, he answers to Alex.

I’ve been creating in Paint Shop Pro for at least 8 years now, possibly 9, I can’t remember exactly when I started “playing”.  I create IncrediMail stationery (stats) and tutorials (tuts).  This year I’ve started creating Scrap Kits as well.  More recently I’ve gotten into pixel art.  I haven’t drawn or colored much, but I use the tubes to create tags as well as stats.  It’s fun and I enjoy it.  :)  I also opened up a new website called Lysa’s Pixel Palace where you can buy individual tags or join theme weeks to get a bunch of tags at a great price.  :)  Not one unhappy customer yet.
